Ingredients You’ll Need
There’s not a lot that goes into these treats, which is why they make such a great option! To make these adorable Easter Egg nests, here’s what you’ll need:
2x sheets of puff pastry
200g Nutella
- Mini eggs (from Coles)
Step 1: Prepare Your Pastry Nests

It all starts with Nutella! Grab two puff pastry sheets and leave them out to defrost.
When ready, spread across a generous serving of Nutella on one half (the more Nutella the better).
Pop the second sheet on top.
Step 2: Cut the Nests

This next step is much easier if you have a pizza cutter handy.
Simply cut the pastry into 2cm thick slices. Go all the way along the pastry, keeping it as even as possible.
Step 3: Twist the Nests

Now for the fun part: twisting the nests.
The easiest way to do this is to grab each strip by ends. Hold one end still, and use your other hand to start twisting. Once it’s nice and tight, you’re ready!
Now, tuck one end in and roll the strip around until it creates a nest.
Step 4: Bake
Pop the nests on a baking tray and into the oven.
Baked for 20 minutes at 200 degrees Celcius, but keep a close eye on the nests. You’ll know when they are done!
Step 5: Decorate

This is the part the kids will love helping with most! Let them place a teaspoon of Nutella into each nest, then top them with three Easter Eggs.
Voila! They are ready to eat.
