Firstly, Elliot is already a huge fan of Paw Patrol, so we knew we couldn’t go wrong with this gift. After all, if Chase is on the case, then Elliot is keen! This interactive book combines the excitement of PAW Patrol with educational content. The book covers letters, sounds, and words, which are fundamental for early phonics skills. It’s amazing to see Elliot’s excitement as he explores each page, learning new letters and words along the way. He doesn’t even realise he’s learning, which is a huge bonus for me.
One of the standout features of this book is its interactivity. The book includes light-up buttons that, when pressed, allow Elliot to hear words used in sentences. This feature not only keeps him engaged but also helps in reinforcing his learning. The book also includes PAW Patrol-themed music and sounds, which are a big hit with Elliot. He loves dancing along to the music. There’s 14 pages for them to explore!
The best part is, that you can pop it in your handbag and bring it out to doctor’s appointments, restaurants and more to encourage a little quiet fun without needing the iPad.
