What you need…
Makes 34 Christmas pudding cake pops
- 2 x Coles/Woolies white chocolate mud cakes
- 1 x large bar milk chocolate
- 34 lolly sticks (find them here)
- Holly leaves (find them here)
- 1 x small bag white chocolate melts
Method:
1. Start by removing the chocolate squiggle from the top of the cakes… they don’t mix!
2. Crumble then squish the cake and icing with the back of a spoon in a big bowl until it’s nice and smooshed together… otherwise the balls won’t be smooth.
3. Prepare a tray with baking paper. Use your hands to roll the mixture into balls and pop onto the tray when ready.
4. Melt some of the chocolate bar in a water bath on the stove (or use microwave).
5. Dip the lolly sticks into melted chocolate, stick into the balls then chill in the fridge to set.
6. Melt the rest of the milk chocolate bar. You can add a tablespoon or oil (such as coconut oil) to thin it out.
7. Dip the cake pops in melted milk chocolate and pop back in fridge to set.
8. Melt white chocolate in water bath on stove. Drizzle on top.
9. Top with holly leaves and balls.
Merry Christmas !
