Paint your own cookies

Whether you’re looking to keep the kids entertained for a little while, or on the hunt for the perfect party favours, paint your own cookies are always a hit! We try out some boxes from Melbourne-based business Cookie Cheri – and had plenty of fun in the process. The girls (7 & 5) were delighted with their creations, which came with us to a Christmas concert the next night to be both admired and shared with friends and family (and of course, gobbled down). Here’s a look at these gorgeous cookies and what you can expect.

Cookie Bundles

Perfect for any unicorn party you have planned and want something to pop in the party bags, or simply for an afternoon of fun with some unicorn-loving kids, the paint your own cookie sets come so beautifully packaged and ready to go.

These Christmas cookies are just as adorable and make a great end of year gift for friends!

While this business is based in Melbourne, they can ships across Australia and come so well packaged, bundled up with plenty of extra padding to keep them safe.

Painting Time

The girls couldn’t wait to get started on these cookies. Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Add a drop of water to each paint tab.
  2. Wait one minute for activation.
  3. Stir well and paint. Repeat if dry out.

What I love about these cookies is the amazing colours! We have done some paint your own cookies before, but never in such fun, vibrant, metallic colours. They really made the creations pop and looked so great together.

There’s also such a great variety of fun designs. The girls had a hard time dividing them up, as they simply wanted to paint them all.

And the best part, it all just washes off! The girls were able to dive in an enjoy some messy fun, without me worrying about clean-up time. The plates, table and their hands simply washed off after they were done.

The final creations looked amazing! Each one a little different to the last as the girls had fun painting in their own colours.

They had even more fun bringing them along to Christmas carols and sharing with friends and family (while showing off what they had done).

To top it all off the cookies taste absolutely amazing too!
