A mermaid party is a very popular theme, and for good reason. It can be done so many different ways, depending on your tastes! Here’s one gorgeous Mermaid Birthday Party that was put together by mum Monica for one very lucky little girl. Discover how she pulled the look together below.
Mermaid Set Up
The decorations for this amazing mermaid party have really gone next level. From balloon garlands to Jellyfish and handing seaweed, this whole party has been transformed with some amazing DIY jobs.
The balloon garlands were also a DIY job, made from kits purchased from Kmart. The metallic background is also from Kmart, with some fabric found at an op shop to hang behind it.
Monica made the incredible jellyfish, with curled ribbon hanging down to create an amazing effect.
Mermaid Birthday Party Table
Check out all this amazing mermaid party food! The table looks so in theme with all the little decorations on it adding to the look.
The wave props came from marketplace and were repainted by Monica.
The chest has to be a favourite! This piece, along with the fish, shells, crabs and other decorations just came from Op Shops. Perfect place to look for some bargains.
Most of the trays and stands Monica already has, so it helps to sort through your cupboards before a party.
The mermaid straws, purple table tutu and water labels came from Wish.
Mermaid Party Games
The table set up is just perfect for this party, with plenty to keep the kids entertained. They are filled with mermaid crown colouring in.
The table covers and cups come from Discount Party Supplies.
The piñata is from Big W, but Monica redecorated it to look like a mermaid and added the tail.
Mermaid Birthday Cake
Last but not least, we can’t forget the cake. The cake is from the Cheesecake shop and Monica made the cake topper.
