Link’s 4th Superhero party

Welcome to Link’s fourth birthday: Superhero Theme! He had a Summer party that took place at his grandparent’s house, where they have a huge area downstairs that is just perfect for the event. We chose the Superhero party theme as it catered to both boys and girls and could be lots of fun (which it was!).

The Set Up

Spiderman balloon is from BigW party shop. You can use our DIY balloon garland post to set up your very own creation!

Backdrop from AliExpress. The backdrop is the focal point of your party table, so it helps to get something eye-catching.

     Balloon garland from AliExpress.

Superhero cut outs from I Want One Of Those. These are so easy to use as party decorations, and nice and effective too!

LINCOLN letters are made using the wooden letters from Kart, painted with black poster paint, and then I glued on images from old comics and books I picked up from op shops.

All cake toppers were images printed at home and then laminated.

Cookies are from Sweet Avenue on Facebook.

Macarons from Coles and topped with edible images from CK’s Edible Images and Cakes.

Cityscape is made by painting various boxes with black poster paint, and sticking on yellow sticker squares.

     Lollipop outfits from AliExpress.

Skewer toppers and jelly stickers printed at home.

Block Lego figures were purchased from a local pop-up discount store but can be found on eBay or AliExpress.

Chocolate wrappers were designed by me and printed as A5 flyers with Vistaprint (minimum order of 50). I have also done them printed as photos when I haven’t needed as many.

Plates are from The Reject Shop.

Party blowers from BigW party shop.

Jail was made with cardboard boxes and painted black. Stickers also made by me.

Hulk Smash wall made from LOTS of boxes we collected over a few months. Painted to look like bricks.

     Hulk hands from AliExpress.

     Pinata from BigW party shop.

     Thor hammer from AliExpress.

Party Bags

In place of traditional party bags full of party favours, we gave the kids each a mask and cape to keep with the superhero theme, as well as ‘Lego’ superhero figures. They also had lollies and stickers from the pinata.
